CAVEAT: This is tedious, far from sexy, and nothing even close to a silver bullet to generate more leads solution. Which is why it’s so effective 🙂
Don’t overlook it now or you risk being regretful later.
We’ll begin with the lead generation strategy that most people will not have the discipline or persistence to follow. That is creating a REAL value machine for your ideal target market.

The major reason why all Network Marketers (YOU) must have a blog is to attract site visitors who have similar passions as you… then convert those site visitors into qualified leads… then to a customer… and most important… a distributor in your downline.
If you’re in network marketing… you must have a Network Marketing Blog if you actually want to generate more leads.
This could be you publishing a daily blog post, or a video series you create daily… or something else. The point is that you have a place on the web that people can find your value-added content.
Having a blog is one of the best lead generating assets you can use, as it not only allows a business or person (YOU) complete control of what is said but also an opportunity to have the complete attention of the reader.
And I feel like a broken record here, but please don’t make the blog all about you! Give and provide REAL value.
Sounds simple, but it’s far from easy. I dare you to try it and you’ll see. Write a 100% value-added blog post every day for a 30 days. This is REAL work from top to bottom.
And that my friend is exactly why it’s so effective, in my opinion.
Because the majority of your competition is more than likely lazy and won’t have the discipline or persistence to maintain a successful blog. Use that to your advantage – I am and I like the results.
Sometimes, however, you need to generate more leads like yesterday so that you can put food on the table today… and I get it. In that case, speed is what works, and we’ll get to that in a bit.

Basic Rule #2: Understand That the Money is Not Always in the List
It look as if one of my lists currently has little to no money hiding within it.
Which is due to the fact that I filled it with a bunch of freebie seekers rather than possible customers. I created a list before I had something to market or sell.
Why, because I only knew what I knew at the time.
If I had it to do it all over again, I wouldn’t even bother. Learn from my mistake. You create and build your lists NOT to generate more leads, but to get paying customers.
Even if that takes days, weeks, months, or even years. You are still building your list to get leads to buy from you… right?
Unless of course you’re just lonesome, you don’t want to be generating just any lead… you want to be generating more leads that ultimately become paying customers.
It’s easy to build a list of people that merely want free stuff. However, these are not the types of leads you’re looking for.
Ponder this: cast your lead generating net as wide as possible. Yet as quickly as you can, like on the Thank You page, make it clear that you’re SELLING.
You’ll downright scare away the people who are out looking for a free lunch and are not serious about their business.
As long as you are offering and giving REAL VALUE while you sell, the REAL prospective customers will stick with you.
You are running a business, not a charity. So make it clear, unless of course you ARE running a charity, otherwise when you DO try to sell, it will be jarring to your lead because it will be completely inconsistent with exactly what they came for.
Basic Rule #3: You Don’t Have Time to Wait Around for a Relationship
People buy because they want things and they want those things NOW. They buy because they desire the value-added benefits of whatever it is that you are providing.
Yes a relationship helps. But you can’t pay your bills or pay your expenses with relationships. So ask them to buy FAST.
Isn’t that really why you’re in business in the first place? Don’t make excuses for it. You can’t be scared to sell.
Now with any luck, those three basic rules weren’t to jarring for you? If they were, I’m sure you would’ve already hit the back button by now… right?
But if you are still with me, let’s jump into the 10 ways to generate more leads for less.
10 Proven Ways on How to Generate More Leads
#1. Viral Videos Work
Create a viral video and post it to YouTube, or better yet, to both YouTube and your own site (YOUR BLOG). Because, if it does go viral, trust me, you’ll be happy you put it on your blog site once all the link love starts coming back to your site.
On the video page, make an offer for the NEXT video in exchange for the optin.
Go buy some, within your budget, PPC ads on Facebook, not promoting your offer, but rather just promoting the video.
People (particularly people on Facebook) like to be entertained, so ensure the content of your video is clearly INFOTAINMENT. Don’t just teach… Educate, sell or pre-sell and entertain your audience.
But seriously, please don’t produce another terrible infomercial and post it on YouTube. The world doesn’t need any more of these.
What people always want more of is entertainment. So, spend some time on creating a great idea that promotes your business and engages your prospective customers.
However, what you don’t know is if all these leads you’re attracting are actually going to be paying customers. You won’t know that until you try it. This is business after all and if you want guarantees, do recommend doing something else.
#2. Leverage Your Real Estate (YOUR BLOG) and Don’t Be Lazy
In my point of view, the jury is still out on just how cost-effective social media is for producing sales, but when it comes to spreading your message and ideas, it can be pretty damn effective.
Give your leads the opportunity to share your message for you.
Add in a retweet button (such as the Better Click To Tweet) and any other social widgets that your audience can use to share your message and ideas.
Add in those social share buttons at the top and bottom of your blog posts and even remind your readers and viewers to Like, Comment, and Share your blog posts with the social share buttons.
You may pay for ONE lead, yet that single lead may very well generate more leads – like 10 or 20 more, by sharing your content across their social media networks.
#3. Don’t pause to “Butter ’em Up” Just SELL Them
As soon as you have actually leveraged or mastered a new lead’s skill to spread your message for you (and hopefully generate more leads), give your leads a test. Put an offer (hard or soft) in front of them straightaway.
Once again, you’re not looking for just ANY lead, you want the ones that want to buy. And the more of them that actually buy, the more leads you’ll be able to afford.
#4. Don’t Ignore the Basics
Please make sure you don’t ignore the basics to generate more leads that are cheap and or free. For example, do you have an offer in your email signature? Do you have a P.S. at the bottom of your blog posts? Do you have a place to sign-up for your newsletter? If not, get one.
And if you’re not using Webinars to generate more leads, you’ll want to start.
When people want to attend a Webinar, they must part with their name and email, which means you get a brand-new lead for each webinar participant.
Do you know the best part?
People, if they are serious enough, will happily part with their information because webinars are high-value, hands-on training, that they can experience from the convenience of their own home.
It’s really a win-win. You generate more leads, they get high-value, hands-on training.
There are two basic ways that we use and you should probably, if you’re not already, use to generate more leads for your webinars:
First, you can create a blog post about your upcoming webinar. Although some of your readers are already on your list, you’ll attract brand-new people from the social media sharing.

I’m sure in the good old days (think early 2000’s), you could have offered just about any FREEMIUM as an incentive to generate more leads and get people to join your list.
However, just saying, Sign-up For My Newsletter although it can yield some results, the bar is getting much higher, so sending your Top 10 Tips For X simply doesn’t bare the same weight it used to.
People already have way too much junk on their hard drives as it is. So make the FREE thing (FREEMIUM) you give away something that actually has inherent relevant value as to what they are actually looking for.
Some ideas; software your leads can USE, an ultimate resource (101 tips for XX) that they will come back to over and over again, something that solves a real pain point for the people you are trying to attract.

Simply put, to generate more leads, you should be providing them something that is MORE and FAR BETTER than anything they can get somewhere else or someone else for that matter.
Up the Ante or you will be left out.
#6. People Want & Desire What They Can’t Have
If there’s one pillar of sales psychology, this is it: people want what they cannot have i.e. Scarcity or the thought of losing out on something.
So how can you build THAT into your lead generation campaigns? How can you add an aspect of scarcity to generate more leads?
Maybe you can create a new FREEMIUM each and every month. As soon as the month is over, that FREEMIUM vanishes and gets turned into a product for sale.
You’ve probably already seen these types of offers with sales pages and the highly effective count down timers.
Once again, this takes work, yet people who are willing to work hard, have a built in competitive advantage.
Think of it this way, if your sales funnel is always open to everyone, everywhere, all the time, what’s the reason they should call or contact you TODAY as opposed to 4 years from now?
#7. Separate Yourself from Results and Think Bigger
This is a numbers game. Always has been and always will be. So figure out methods to use that point to your advantage.
Rather than doing a single lead generation campaign, why not launch 10?
Create one squeeze page with a killer offer on it. Then launch PPC, banner ads, articles, news releases, blog posts, blog comments, videos, guest blog posts, interviews, and so on… then drive everything back to that one squeeze page.

To fully develop the potential of all the opportunities you have, you have to be thinking ahead. It’s a habit that takes time to develop.

I’m not speaking about the link bait that derives from attacking someone or a company or even publishing something dramatic. Link bait doesn’t need to be controversial, it just needs to be valuable.
Examples of value-added link bait content for generating more leads:
- Widgets & Gadgets – think Industry Specific Calculators
- Quizzes & Games
- Images & Infographics
- Whitepapers & eBooks
- Video Content
Can you possibly publish something REALLY valuable and enduring for your prospects?
Ask yourself this: What can I create that my prospects would consider in their best interest to share with OTHER prospects or family and friends?
Again, think four steps ahead… you don’t just want to generate more leads, you want sales.

Success originates from executing the basics WELL. Generating more leads is not difficult, it takes 3 things:

- Putting that offer in front of the right people
- A reason to act now
