You have to focus on building relationships with people who have a WANT, NEED, and DESIRE for whatever it is that you have to offer and then provide them with a value added solution which can then be your products and services.
- Make believe All Your Fans Or Customers Are Always Online
Not every one of your Facebook fans and followers are going to be online when you publish a post to your Fanpage. Even if they were, the chances of them seeing your post or your ad is slim to none … remember you are not the only person running ads. This points to you having to concentrate on building the ideal relationships with your Fans so your ads will certainly show up more to them and most importantly you need to be consistent. - You are losing all curiosity. When you are quick to tell people what you are doing, there is no curiosity and no reason to reach out to you to find out more information.
- You look salesy. People that know you and don’t know you will think you are salesy when all you do is talk about your company.
- Anyone that you are connected to that IS interested, although, very few are, will all just google your company and product and either determine that someone out there thinks it is a scam or they will just sign-up with someone else who looks better then you on the internet.
Hardly any good can come of you talking and blasting your company name all over social media. My advice… raise curiosity instead. Say, “Here I am with 5,000 of my fellow friends all united for one mission.” And for heaven’s sake, do it WITHOUT saying your company name. Wouldn’t that just grab a little bit of your curiosity and beg the question for you to try and find out more about it?
