Online network marketers need 3 things to be successful online. More web traffic, more leads and more sales. Obviously, the more qualified web traffic you get to your website, the more you will increase your leads, which inevitably increases your sales.
However, if you don’t even have a place to capture leads, well then, you are wasting a lot of time and there is no point for driving quality traffic to your website in the first place.
So to simply say all you need to do is increase web traffic increase your leads would be misleading.
What you need to do is make sure your website is optimized to increase your leads capture as well as increase your web traffic with the best targeted people.
That right there is the path to take to increase your leads.

5 Simple Ways to Increase Your Leads without Paying for It
1. Use a Lead Magnet
A lead magnet is something that is designed to get website viewers to opt-in. It can be a FREE webinar, a FREE eBook, a white paper, or perhaps a discount.
The concept behind a lead magnet is simple. Simply give something away for FREE in exchange for them giving you their email.
Email is extremely useful to us online network marketers as it is among the most effective marketing methods to convert people and nurture them into customers.
At the same time, people aren’t willing to give away their email unless they perceive the value that they are going to receive from YOU is actually going to benefit them.
They want to believe that their inbox is still sacred and they want to trust you not to spam them.
Usually if you give them something free for little costs (i.e. email address), the trust factor can be taught from the very beginning.

2. Drive Traffic to a Landing Page
A lot of times, online network marketers are shooting blanks. New online network marketers are pushing people through pathetic marketing funnels that don’t make sense for the goal of increasing your leads.
Landing pages are a great thing to have on your site because they are, or at least should be, very targeted, good for SEO, and you can drive people straight to them for one purpose… to increase your leads.
I like to test different landing pages in different types of communication and different networks.
I routinely use one specifically built for LinkedIn and mix them up for different social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and am slowing getting into Snapchat.
3. Add More Opt-In Forms on Your Website
This is something that is so easy yet usually ignored.
Simply having your phone number on your website is not enough to increase your leads.
You need to have contact pages, newsletter sign-up pages, opt-in forms on your blogging website – in your sidebar and everywhere else.
You want to make it as easy as conceivable for your quality web traffic to opt-in to receive more details and information.
Put simply, the more optin forms you have, the more opportunities you have to increase your leads from your website.
4. Use Call-to-Actions (CTAs)
What do you want your visitor to do on your website? What actions do you want them to take? If you don’t know, either is your visitor.
CTAs are like road signs directing your website visitors toward equally beneficial destinations.
A CTA, or call-to-action, ought to be the first thing that attracts your visitor’s eye, no matter what page they come upon.
Take Mints call-to-action:
What do you assume they want you to do? If you said “sign up free,” hooray!
How do you know? Because that’s what the shiny orange button slap in the middle of the page is telling you to do.
Exactly what do you want your visitors to do? Sign up, request a quote, subscribe, or maybe even contact you?
Whatever it is, make it very clear.
People are fickle and quickly distracted by shiny object syndrome. Assume your website visitor is dumb as a box of rocks and make it extremely easy to follow a specific path through your website.
5. Use Social Media Strategically
Lastly, social media should be used to increase your leads.
It is so important that you are strategic with your social media efforts.
Social media isn’t just for popularity. It is for increasing your social branding, authority, and leads.
You can engage with the right people and send them to the right pages on your site, but don’t engage just for the sake of engaging.
You want people to buy. You want people to remember you.
You don’t need to be chatty for the sake of being chatty.
Increase your leads with social media by thinking strategically about what it is the marketplace is wanting.
Your social media strategy will vary depending on a number of factors such as:
- Target Audience
- Budget (Yes, you are going to have to pay-to-play. There’s been a big myth for years that social media is FREE. It may be free but I have not ever seen anyone be truly successful at it without a real budget.)
- And Time & Resources
